Jesus answered, "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God".

Have you read through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation? Why not make 2018 the year to read the entire Bible, or take your family through the Bible?
There are several reasons why we should read the Bible DAILY:
- as Jesus himself says (verse above) the WORD of GOD is bread to our soul
- we are told to desire the WORD to grow by it (1 Peter 2:2)
- we should meditate on GOD's WORD day and night (Psalm 1:2)
- the WORD corrects, instructs, and equips us (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Of course this takes commitment and discipline. Accountability can be a great helper, so consider agreeing with other families to read through the Bible together. This will also lead to some wonderful studies and discussions, since you will be covering the same topics at the same time!
